🗓️ Day 1 – Arrive in Wiltshire & Set Up Camp
Collect your campervan from London or Bristol and drive into the rolling downs of the Chalke Valley. Arrive in time to check in at your reserved pitch right on the festival grounds, set up your van, and walk into Broad Chalke village for a pub dinner.

🗓️ Day 2 – First Festival Day
Spend your first full day exploring the living history encampments and artisan market. Watch costumed interpreters bring medieval and wartime stories to life, and end the day with an evening talk in the main marquee.

🗓️ Day 3 – Morning at Stonehenge, Afternoon Festival
Drive out early to Stonehenge, Britain’s most iconic prehistoric monument. Walk the perimeter trail for panoramic views, then explore the interactive visitor centre with its reconstructed Neolithic houses. Return to Chalke Valley by lunchtime to spend the afternoon at talks and displays.

Begin the day with a visit to Salisbury Cathedral, where you can admire the soaring spire, Britain’s tallest, and view the beautifully illuminated 1215 Magna Carta. Wander the cloisters before heading back to the festival grounds to catch afternoon lectures and evening entertainment.

Watch the large-scale reenactment, featuring cavalry charges and immersive battlefield displays. In the evening, attend a keynote talk or enjoy live music on the festival grounds.

Spend your last full day soaking up the atmosphere, revisiting your favourite encampments, and attending any talks you’ve missed.

🗓️ Day 8 – Drive to Dorset’s Jurassic Coast
Head south into Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its fossils and dramatic landscapes. Stop in Lyme Regis to explore the fossil museum, browse bookshops, and have lunch overlooking the sea.

🗓️ Day 9 – Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door
Spend the day at Lulworth Cove, a perfect circular bay shaped by centuries of wave action. Walk along the coast path to Durdle Door, an iconic limestone arch rising from turquoise water. Bring a picnic or swim if the weather’s fine.

🗓️ Day 10 – Corfe Castle & Wareham
Explore the dramatic ruins of Corfe Castle, perched above the village with sweeping views over Purbeck. Later, wander Wareham’s riverside paths and historic square. Enjoy your final evening at a peaceful coastal campsite.

🗓️ Day 11 – Return to London or Bristol
Drive back to your drop-off depot, stopping in Shaftesbury for lunch and a stroll down the cobbled Gold Hill.
