The Berlin Marathon takes place in late September when temperatures are mild (15–20 °C) and days are bright — ideal for running and sightseeing. May / June: Warm and green through Bavaria’s meadows; perfect for training runs and alpine views before the summer heat. August / September: Harvest season in Franconia and ideal race weather in Berlin — crisp mornings, long evenings and plenty of light.
