Best time of year
Apr–Jun (Spring into Summer): Fresh green forests, tulips still in bloom, and comfortable 15–22°C days. Duinrell is lively but not overcrowded, perfect for younger families. Outdoor pools and rides are open, and evenings are long enough for BBQs or a bike ride to the dunes. Jul–Aug (Peak Summer): Longest days, school holidays, and guaranteed action. Expect 20–28°C sunshine, buzzing campsites, and maximum hours in the Tiki Pool or on the beach. Great atmosphere for kids, though it’s the busiest period — book early to secure pitches or bungalows. Sep–Oct (Late Season): Quieter weeks with 15–20°C warmth and sea still swimmable. Parks are less crowded, cycling is at its best, and forest trails glow with autumn colours.
