Experience details
📅 Friday evening — Welcome dinner: Gather at a relaxed Cederberg camp for simple food, soft evening light on sandstone cliffs, and an introduction to the group and coach.
📅 Saturday morning — Warm-up run + technique session: Start with an easy shake-out along a valley path, followed by short video clips and instruction on climbing efficiency, line choice and safe, smooth descending. These sessions work equally well whether you’re preparing for an upcoming race or simply building stronger, more confident trail-running technique.
📅 Saturday afternoon — Your time: Visit rock arches, swim in a mountain pool, explore boulder fields, rest at camp, or take a slow walk to a nearby viewpoint.
📅 Sunday morning — Longer run: A steady red-rock loop with ridge sections, short scrambly moments and flowing singletrack. Real-time coaching focuses on pacing, breath rhythm, downhill control and terrain awareness.
📅 Sunday afternoon — Your time: Relax at camp, explore ancient San rock art sites, visit a local farm stall, or enjoy a slow sunset walk among the rock formations.
📅 Sunday evening — Dinner & unwind: Share dinner with the group, review optional video analysis, swap route ideas and enjoy one of the clearest night skies in South Africa.
